Die W*F*U versteht sich als Dachorganisation; sie ist weltweit präsent, um eine Anlaufstelle für alle Katzenvereine und deren Belange zu sein.

Die Bedingungen (Satzung) sind so beschlossen worden, dass

- in erster Linie die Katze die Hauptrolle spielt
- Züchter - der angeschlossenen Vereine - sich untereinander näher kommen
- bestehende Interessengemeinschaften der angeschlossenen Vereine publik gemacht werden.
- Ausstellungen der angeschlossenen Vereine proklamiert werden, um wieder mehr Interesse daran zu wecken.

Es wird nicht verlangt, dass Ihre Katze hunderte von Kilometern reisen muss, um Titel zu sammeln, außer, Ihre Katze soll den Welt-Champion Titel erringen.

Wir informieren über Show Termine und zusätzliche Show-Highlights der uns angeschlossenen Vereine.

Die W*FU* möchte, dass jedem der ihr angeschlossenen Vereine jährlich im Wechsel die Gelegenheit geboten wird, eine Spezial-Katzenschau zu veranstalten, die als World-Cat-Show - mit Welt-Punkt Vergabe - deklariert wird. Zu dieser Show wird immer ein Richter eines anderen Kontinents zur Weltpunkvergabe eingeladen. Um diese Show durchzuführen, muss der Verein 12 Monate vor dem geplanten Termin den Antrag mit Hallen- und Ortsangabe an die W*F*U einreichen.

Es gelten die offiziellen Bewertungsregelungen.

In der Jugend-Klasse kann der Titel Jugend-Champion errungen werden, hierzu müssen in der Zeit zwischen 6 – 9 Monaten drei CACJ errungen worden sein.

The W*F*U considers itself as a community of cat clubs, it is represented worldwide in order to be the centre of consultation for all cat clubs and their interests.

The statute is composed in a way that

- first of all, cats are the main subject
- cat breeders - of the joined cat clubs - may become acquainted with each other
existing communities of interests of the joined cat clubs will be announced
- cat shows of the joined cat clubs will be advertised in order to wake more interest in them



It will not be required that you have to travel hundreds of kilometres with your cat in order to gain the title of a world champion. Please inform yourself about the way of judgement.

We shall inform about the dates of cat shows and the additional special shows of the joined cat clubs.

Every year, the W*F*U would like to give each of the joined cat clubs the opportunity to perform a cat show, declared as a World Cat Show, during which the cat may gain the title of a world champion. A judge which is an inhabitant of a continent differing from the continent on which the World Cat Show is to be performed, will be invited to grant the title of a world champion. In order to perform this show, the respective cat club has to apply for it at the W*F*U 12 months in advance, stating the relevant date and place of performance.

At the age of 6 to 9 months, a cat may gain the title of a "Jugend Champion" (Youth Champion); in order to bear this title, 3 times a "CACJ" has to be gained during this period of time.
